This privacy policy explains how information about you is collected, used, and disclosed by Pendragon Law Group, LLC (“Pendragon”, “we” or “us”). This policy applies to the information we collect when you use our websites and mobile applications (the “Services”), when you attend our events or when you otherwise interact with us as described below.

If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of this policy, and in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as by adding a statement to the homepage our Services or by sending an email notification). Collection of Information

Information You Provide to Us

We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, we collect information when you interact with us as a client or prospective or former client, create an account to access certain features of our Services, send us an email, fill out a form, respond to a survey, register for an event, enter a promotional drawing or otherwise communicate with us. The types of information we may collect include your name, postal address, email address, phone number, current occupation and business contact information, social security number, employment application information (including education and work history), LinkedIn handle, demographic information, conference/event preferences, payment method information, state bar number and any other information you choose to provide.

Information We Automatically Collect

When you access or use the Services, we automatically collect certain information about you, including:

  • Log Information: our servers collect log files when you access our Services, including your browser type and language, access times, pages viewed, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address and the webpage or online service you visited before navigating to our Services.
  • Device Information: We collect information about the mobile device you use to access our mobile applications, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers and mobile network information.
  • Information Collected by Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies: We and our service providers use various technologies to collect information, including cookies and web beacons (or pixel tags). Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in device memory that help us to, among other things, improve our Services and your experience, see which areas and features of our Services are popular and count visits. Web beacons are clear, electronic images that may be used on our Services or in our emails and help deliver cookies, count visits, understand usage and campaign effectiveness and determine if an email has been opened and acted upon.

Use of Information

  • Provide the information or services you request, process any transactions and send you related information, including confirmations and receipts;

Sharing of Information

  • With other users of our alumni site, we may share your name and contact information in a directory in accordance with the privacy settings you establish via that site;
  • With the applicable state bar association, we may share your name and bar number in connection with an application for CLE credit;
  • With vendors, consultants, and other service providers who are working on our behalf and need access to your information to carry out their work for us;
  • In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Pendragon’s assets, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company; and.
  • In response to a request for information if required by, or we believe disclosure is in accordance with, any applicable law, regulation or legal process;
  • If we believe your actions are inconsistent with our user agreements or policies, or to protect the rights, property and safety of us or any third party;
  • With your consent or at your direction, including if we notify you that the information you provide will be shared in a particular manner and you provide such information.

We may also share aggregated or de-identified information, which cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

Please note that information you post in your profile, blogs, listings, public or private groups, forums and any other interactive areas of the Services, will be available to other users of those features and in some cases may be publicly available.

Social Sharing Features

The Services may enable social sharing features and other integrated tools (such as the Facebook “Like” button), which let you share actions you take on our Services with other media, and vice versa. The use of such features enables the sharing of information with your friends or the public, depending on the settings you establish with the entity that provides the social sharing feature. Analytics and Advertising Services Provided by Others

We may allow other companies to use cookies, web beacons and other technologies on the Services that collect information about your use of the Services and other websites, including your IP address, web browser, pages viewed, time spent on pages, links clicked and conversion information. This information may be used by Pendragon for analytics purposes, including to analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content and better understand your online activity. Promotional Communications

You may opt out of receiving marketing or promotional emails from us by following the instructions in those emails. Please note that even if you opt out of receiving promotional emails, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.
